  • Did you win the tennis match? No, we lost. - ¿Ganasteis el partido de tenis? No, perdimos.
  • Are you going out tonight? - No, I’m staying at home. - ¿Vas a salir esta noche? No, me quedo en casa.
  • Do you want a cup of tea?  No, thanks. - ¿Quieres un té? No, gracias.

  • No smoking - No fumar. / Prohibido fumar.
  • No parking - No aparcar. / Prohibido estacionar

  • No decision was taken. - No se tomaron ninguna decisión.
  • No restaurant closes before midnight in this neighbourhood.
  • There was no hospital in the town.- No había ningún hospital en el pueblo.
Entonces, para la frase “No hay ninguna diferencia.” hay dos traducciones;

  1.  There is no difference.
o
  2.  There isn’t any difference.

  • None of them are going to the park. - Ninguna de ellas va al parque.
  • None of them were available. -  Ninguno de ellos estuviera disponible,
Más información > No, none y none of Las diferencias entre no, none y none of.

  • I have no money. - No tengo (nada de) dinero.
  • There is no milk in the fridge.

NOT Se usa :

  • Can I watch TV?  NOT now. - Puedo ver televisión? Ahora no.
b) Para negar Un Verbo :

  • They don't play football. - No juegan al fútbol.
  • They didn't go to the party. - No fueron a la fiesta.
y también con el infinitivo o gerundio.

  • They prefer not to do it.  - Prefieren no hacerlo.
  • They told me not to worry. - Me dijeron que no me preocupara.
  • I’m afraid of not finishing on time. - Tengo miedo de no acabar a tiempo.
Ojo.

c) Con sustantivos, adjetivos y adverbios.

  • I drink beer but not wine. - Bebo cerveza pero no vino.
  • We arrived not very late. - Llegamos no muy tarde.
  • My sister cooks but not very well.- Mi hermana cocina pero no muy bien.
d) para negar con el verbo “to be”.

  • We are not ready. - No estamos listos.
  • They're not here. - No están aquí.
  • I’m not hungry. - No tengo hambre.
e) En expresiones como, por ejemplo:

  • I hope not. - Espero que no.
  • I think not. - Creo que no.
  • Are you coming or not? - ¿Vienes o no?
